GRANT LEADS MID-PACIFIC OPEN BY 3 SHOTS
LANIKAI, HAWAII – APRIL 20, 2018 – As it turned out, it was a perfect day for golf in beautiful Lanikai as Round 2 of the Mid-Pacific OPEN continued on. After 36-holes, Brent Grant leads the field by three shots posting (67+68=135). Past-champion Samuel Cyr (67+71=138) sits three shots off the lead. Parker McLachlin (70+69=139) and Justin Keiley (68+71=135) are tied for third at five-under par for the tournament.
In Championship flight, past-champion Tyler Ota and Punahou senior Remington Hirano are tied for the lead at one-under par, both carding identical scores of (72+71=143).
Howard Miao (+9) leads A-flight by one stroke over Skyler Uehara. Christopher Han (+18) has a seven-stroke lead in B-Flight.
In our Senior Division, Kevin Hayashi, PGA won the Senior-PRO, carding a (71+74=145). In the Senior Amateur Division Mike Kawate leads the field with a three shot lead (74+76=150).
Tomorrow’s tee times will begin at 10:00 AM off the 1st and 10th tee. Spectators are welcome to follow the players and experience the beauty of Mid-Pacific Country Club.
