Join us on Monday, May 20th at MID-PACIFIC COUNTRY CLUB for the annual Aloha Section PGA Classic Scramble.
As the lead organization in Hawaii’s Golf Industry, this fundraiser benefits the Aloha Section PGA Foundation and its mission is to perpetuate the game of golf in Hawaii. Last year the Foundation awarded over $20,000 in scholarships, financial aid, community projects, and children of active military families. In addition to these projects the Foundation also provides educational scholarshipsfor PGA Members of the Aloha Section.
The Aloha Section PGA Classic Scramble is our major fundraiser for the year and we rely on the support of players like you that have a passion for the game. The monies raised from this event ensure the continued growth of the game in Hawaii. This year the Classic Scramble will be played the day after the JENNIE K. WILSON INVITATIONAL tournament; Hawaii’s oldest premier event for women amateurs. We anticipate the golf course to be in pristine tournament conditions. The format of the tournament is a six-person team (5-Amateurs / 1-Professional). If you would like to invite your own PGA Professional to play with your group we will accommodate your request. Otherwise the Committee will assign you a professional.
We also offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for you to choose from. Our “Top Billing” is Platinum, which entitles you to ten player(s) in our Pro Am tournament and a special tee gift for each member along with our standard tee gifts. The GOLD TEAM sponsorship continues to be our most popular sponsorship at $1,500. Each Pro Am player receives a valuable tee package and all of our sponsors will be recognized in our printed materials.
I have enclosed with this letter a (Team Application) for this year. If you are unable to play, please consider making a donation to the Foundation. We would appreciate any donation your company, facility, or organization could offer. If you intend to send a prize donation please consider them in sets of five (5). Team prizes will be awarded at the banquets in sets of five (5).
With your support we will continue to fulfill the purpose of the Foundation – to perpetuate the game of golf in Hawaii by developing and promoting interest in the game while enhancing the lives of those that participate. We hope to see you on the tee at 11:30AM “in beautiful Lanikai at Mid-Pacific Country Club on May 20th.”
